Two Steps Shiraz
Wine
West Cape Howe Two Steps Shiraz is drawn from the Langton Vineyard, home to some of the earliest plantings of Shiraz in Mount Barker. The best parcels of fruit are chosen, tagged even before harvest.
Each batch is closely monitored while fermenting. Once pressed, they are aged in new and seasoned French oak barrels for 18 months prior to blending and bottling. The final wine is matured for a further 9-12 months in bottle before release.
Dark crimson, West Cape Howe Two Steps Shiraz has the juicy dark plum flavours of cool climate Shiraz with lightly drying tannins, lifted spicy notes and gentle acidity. Cellaring potential is six years.
